Hi all!
You know, Many say that playing computer games is not good for various reasons. Some think it is bad for the eyes, some think you will get addicted, some even say you will get influenced! Well personally I feel that computer games help me to relax in times of stress( i'm always stressed ^O^) and sometimes even help me learn new things (not really). However, you can also relax even when you are not playing computer GAMES. You can like me make animations instead of wearing out your fingers on those pathetic games!!!!! So now that I have made my point, It's your turn. Is playing computer games really a good, or a bad thing???????

We have all heard of cheating in exams just to score high marks right? But how far will we go to cheat?

High-tech exam cheats

BEIJING - CHEATERS in China's famous civil service exams have gone so far as to put micro-receivers in their ears, in order to get answers from audio broadcasts as they sit in the testing room, the Xinhua news agency said on Monday.
One thousand people, the highest number in recent years, were busted for trying to cheat in the annual central government civil servant exam, a Confucian tradition that opens the door to bureaucratic advancement.
The civil service exams are very competitive, with 775,000 people vying for 13,500 national civil service posts.
'In China's highly competitive national exams, where chances of success are very slim, many applicants, especially the less academically inclined, are lured to cheat,' Xinhua said.
More than 300 candidates were caught cheating in examination rooms on Nov 30, while another 700 were busted after their papers were found to have 'shared much conformity,' Xinhua said, citing the State Administration of Civil Service.
The cheaters were mainly found in the north-eastern province of Liaoning and the capital city, Beijing. Those caught are disqualified from the exam and can be barred from the civil servant exams for both central and local governments for up to five years.
In an extreme case, one position with the China Disabled Persons' Federation had more than 4,700 applicants, Xinhua said. -- REUTERS

REFLECTIONS

I Seriously do not think that cheating in class is a good idea... If you cheat in an exams, you may get high marks, but the marks do not reflect how much you have learnt. It shows only how well someone else done if the work is not done by you. We have heard of students writing formulas on erasers, we have heard of students who stare answers, but have we heard of students using micro- earpieces to cheat? I think that is going too far and it is a very wrong thing to do as you do not learn anything from it. Marks are only words in ink but morals are what you can benifit from if you learn them and they cannot be calculated by marks.

yo all,
well, i thought i should say more about myself. well like i said i'm jarel, just an ordinary sec school kid. I like table-tennis and other sports anyway, my family may not be rich but we are happy... I also love spending time with my family. Still, animating is just a hobby, and I am just an amateur... but i hope you will enjoy the vids.
