If you could eliminate one emotion from the world, would you? Which one? Why?

Almost everyone has different views about this question. Different people would want to eliminate different emotions for different reasons. For example, some sadistic people would want to eliminate happiness from the world so that everyone would be as sad as he or she is. Or, it could be that others would want to eliminate sadness from the world, so the world would be free of sad people, and everyone can just enjoy themselves.

Some very "top wanted to be eliminated" emotion would be frustration and anger. For example, if you have worked very hard for the past ten years and never received a promotion or even a pay raise, you would be very disappointed. However, if some greenhorn just got employed and within the month he already got promoted, how would you feel? Angry, am I correct? That would be the time you felt that this anger and frustration should be eliminated so you can concentrate on your work. Hence, this shows that the question is extremely open-ended.

If I had the power to eliminate one emotion from the world, I would not. I believe that these emotions have both a good and bad thing about them and that they are a part of our lives.
If you were to eliminate sadness from the world, then everyone will be very happy, however, that makes you the same as everyone else, and that there would be no significannce in being happy, since you would be happy for every single thing you do, making you sad in the end.

No one likes jealousy, yet it can also be a good thing to be jealous of somebody. If you are jealous of someone, it means you look up to the person. Also, we would want to outshadow that certain someone. Hence, jealousy can drive us to do the best of everything we do. It is the same with frustration. It also forces a you to do the best you can, so that you can end your frustration.

Just as a person needs two hands to clap, one emotion cannot exist without each other. All emotions should be appreciated. There cannot be satisfaction without frustration. Happiness is also the fruit of sadness. Without these emotions, HOW CAN WE EXPRESS OURSELVES???
